Mercy Hospital is counting on the Mercy Foundation and you to continue its tradition of providing quality and compassionate healthcare.
The Young Founders of Mercy - Professionals, 50 years or under, who pledge $2,500 per year for ten years, for a total commitment of $25,000. Young Founders are provided special benefits at Mercy Hospital and their contributions are credited toward future Founder status.
Benefits of Membership
GENERAL ADMISSION
- A Young Founders card will be issued to you, which will include a medical record number assigned with your health insurance data to pre-register you at Mercy.
- Access to a patient representative 24 hours/day to assist you with your needs at Mercy Hospital.
- Personalized Pre-Admission for elective procedures with advance notice at Mercy Hospital
(A Foundation staff member will guide you to expedite the process).
- Concierge services while at Mercy Hospital: upgraded patient room during hospital stay based on availability; special menus, guest trays, and a rollaway bed if needed.
- Assistance in securing private duty nurses, through the Social Work Department.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- Access to private Founders Society waiting area in the new Emergency Department, should you require the use of the new facility.
- Access to Founders Suite with private bathroom in the new Emergency Department.

MATERNITY
- Priority booking of post partum suites with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay, subject to availability.
- Access to a Certified Lactation Consultant to provide comprehensive breastfeeding support during business hours.
- Comprehensive childbirth, breastfeeding, baby care, CPR and a Baby Information Line for breastfeeding and baby care questions – (305) 446-BABY during business hours.
- Post-partum education including “Home with Baby Support” and “Daddy and Me” classes.
- Family blessing and gift of rosary by Mercy Pastoral Care.
- Complimentary engraved plaque on the donor panel at the entrance of the Maternity Center.
OUTPATIENT
- Fast PASS “Preferred Appointment Setting Service” where Foundation staff provide guidance and assistance with physicians’ appointments within 48 hours.
- Membership in Mercy’s Executive Physical Program, providing discounts on physicals and prevention plan annually.
- Complimentary Cancer Screening/Skin Tests.
- Discounted Mammograms.
- Complimentary Prostate Specific Antigen.
- Access to Mercy’s Business Center during your hospital stay or visit.
