Mercy Hospital Supporters Go ‘All In’ for
Annual
Casino Night Fundraiser

Foundation hits jackpot with another success!

Hundreds ‘came to the tables’ for a cause in a rousing display of support for Mercy Hospital.  Havana Nights Casino Fundraiser, hosted by Mercy Foundation and its support group, the Ambassadors of Mercy, and celebrating lucky year seven, took place Saturday, June 26, at Grove Isle Hotel and Spa.

“This is not only one of our most important events of the year, but one of the most exciting, and it’s an honor to have overseen it,” said Ambassadors president Vince Castro, who co-chaired the event for the sixth consecutive year.  “Thanks to the countless people involved, Havana Nights has grown in success and continues to generate critical funds for Mercy Foundation and the community it serves.”

The 1950’s Havana-style event, reminiscent of an evening at the famed Tropicana nightclub, benefits essential projects and programs within Mercy Hospital.  With Biscayne Bay serving as the backdrop, attendees tried their luck at casino games such as roulette, blackjack, craps and poker, all while enjoying a night of dancing, dining, a silent raffle and prizes.
