Mercy Foundation Toasts to Success of Annual Interactive Dinner
Supporters sharpen culinary skills for good cause at Grove Isle Hotel & Spa
Friends, food and fundraising were on the menu at the annual President’s Interactive Culinary Fest, benefiting Mercy Foundation. The Foundation’s support group, Ambassadors of Mercy, oversaw the celebrated event on November 20th at Grove Isle Hotel and Spa. Guests, appropriately outfitted in chef hats and aprons, worked alongside Grove Isle chefs and staff members to cook up culinary masterpieces…all at their own tables.
“This is an exciting, time-honored tradition for Mercy and we are grateful for the support which has, for years, ensured its success,” said Josie Romano Brown, president of Mercy Foundation. “The Ambassadors work diligently, making this one of the most highly-anticipated fundraisers for our cause. Their efforts are most appreciated.”
Event sponsors included Grove Isle Hotel & Spa, Mercedes Benz and Bacardi Liquors. A silent auction showcased items like sports memorabilia and fine works of art, as well as exquisite jewelry from South Miami-based Giancarlo Designs Inc. The event was chaired by Ambassadors of Mercy president Vince Castro.
