PRESIDENT’S INTERACTIVE CULINARY FEST

The Ambassadors of Mercy raised their glasses and toasted to another fantastic fundraising event. The President’s Interactive Culinary Fest took place on Saturday, August 29th at the luxurious Grove Isle Hotel & Spa. In an elegant and casual atmosphere, guests rolled up their sleeves and worked side by side with Grove Isle’s Executive Chef Joe Parsons and his staff to create culinary masterpieces – right at their own table. The event drew a sell-out crowd for the Mercy Foundation, the principal fundraising arm of Mercy Hospital.

“This interactive event was magnificent, and gave wine and food lovers an excellent opportunity to have fun while supporting one of our community’s most respected medical institutions,” said Josie Romano Brown, president of Mercy Foundation. “The Ambassadors have always been such a special part of the Foundation. They continue to take the Interactive Culinary Fest to new heights and continue to put on some of our most popular and well-attended events.”

The Mercy Foundation is grateful to all the supporters and sponsors, including the Grove Isle Hotel & Spa and Bacardi Liquors which helped make this year’s event another tremendous success.

“This year’s event at the Grove Isle was one of best Culinary Fests to date,” said Vince Castro, president of the Ambassadors of Mercy Foundation, who chaired the event with his wife Lisa. “I am truly proud of the Ambassadors and their success. The work that they do for Mercy Hospital is further proof that they have a ‘Reason to Care’.”
